Amazing build quality, finish and materials. The black switches on this model are very smooth. The long keys use clipped stabilizers. Although they not feel as perfect as Costars, they are a slight improvent over standard Cherry stabilizers. The 1800 layout is fantastic, better than 100% and better than tenkeyless. The keycaps are very good, 1.5 mm thick PBT, with mat finish and almost no texture. This keyboard really looks very elegant. Typing with front printed legends is a bit challenging if you need to look at your keyboard when typing. This model also comes with a detachable cable and a practical plastic cover. It has some dipswitches settings to configure certain keys. I use my FC980M daily and I'm very happy with my purchase.
